These Terms govern your use of the Health Partner mobile app and this website (together, "the Service"), operated by Shreyansh Jain ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Not a Medical Device or Medical Advice
Health Partner is a personal habit and logging tool. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and nothing in the app is medical advice. Step counts, activity summaries, and lab-value comparisons are for your own reference only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, and do not rely on the app for anything urgent — it has no connection to emergency services.
2. Your Account
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- One account may be actively signed in on one device at a time — signing in elsewhere signs out the previous session.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
3. Your Content
You own the food logs, workouts, journal entries, photos, and every other record you create in the app. We only use it to operate the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Mind journal entries are encrypted on your device and we cannot read them — which also means we cannot recover them for you if you lose your passphrase and recovery key.
4. The MCP Integration
Health Partner speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard, so you can optionally connect your account to Claude or any other MCP-compatible AI client so it can read or log data on your behalf, using an OAuth connection you explicitly authorize. You are responsible for what you permit a connected third-party client to do with your data once authorized. You can revoke this at any time by changing your account password.
5. Acceptable Use
Don't use the Service to: violate any law; attempt to access another user's account or data; reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the API; or upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.
6. Deleting Your Account
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete My Account in the app, or via the process described at /delete-account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
7. Service Availability
Health Partner is provided by an individual developer, without any uptime guarantee. Features, endpoints, and this website may change or be discontinued at any time. We'll do our best to give notice of anything that affects your data.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or reliability of health data or values synced from Apple Health or Google Health Connect.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made based on data shown in the app.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever that happens.
